Wellspring University, a reputable private institution operating on Christian ethics and principles, is seeking a qualified and visionary Associate Professor of Information Technology to join the Faculty of Computing at our campus in Benin City, Edo State. Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Information Technology within the Faculty of Computing.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish in reputable academic journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and academic committee service.
- Engage in community service and foster institutional linkages and industry partnerships.
- Must possess a PhD in Information Technology or a closely related computing discipline.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- A strong, verifiable record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, mentorship, and thesis supervision.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership, ICT proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Current professional registration and valid practising licences where applicable.
