We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Professor of Health Information Management to join our esteemed Faculty of Science and Allied Health Sciences Intelligence in driving academic innovation, research breakthroughs, and exceptional student mentorship.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership within the Department of Health Information Management.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures using modern technology and teaching methodologies.
- Supervise postgraduate student research and theses at Master and PhD levels.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental accreditation processes.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating academic environment.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives on behalf of the university.
- Must possess a PhD in Health Information Management or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of cognate teaching and research experience in a university environment.
- Demonstrated record of outstanding academic leadership and substantial publications in reputable peer-reviewed outlets.
- Proven track record in postgraduate teaching, mentorship, and thesis supervision.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern educational delivery.
- Possession of current professional registration and a valid practising licence where applicable.
