About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021 as Africa's first Indian university campus, invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in Industrial Chemistry. Located on a sprawling campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching in Industrial Chemistry across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
- Conduct cutting-edge research and supervise graduate student projects
- Publish peer-reviewed scholarly articles in reputable journals
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic programme enhancement
- Mentor junior faculty and support institutional research initiatives
- Engage with industry partners to align academic offerings with market needs
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related discipline from accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 peer-reviewed scholarly journal publications demonstrating research excellence
- At least 8 years of combined teaching, research, and university-level experience
- Strong track record of academic leadership and research output
