Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in Film and Multimedia.
- Engage in high-quality academic research and publish extensively in peer-reviewed, reputable national and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies and leverage modern ICT platforms to enhance student learning experiences.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings, contributing to institutional growth and accreditation processes.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating departmental culture.
- Must possess a PhD in Film, Multimedia, or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A robust and verifiable portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity and experience in postgraduate teaching, supervision, and mentorship.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership, community service, and institutional development.
- Proficiency in ICT-driven teaching tools and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
