We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Professor of Economics to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will shape the minds of future economists through rigorous instruction, groundbreaking research, and active industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, student-centred lectures and instruction in Economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Mentor and guide junior faculty members, graduate assistants, and students in their academic and professional pursuits.
- Participate actively in academic conferences, seminars, and relevant professional organizations.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical societal application.
- Contribute meaningfully to the university’s community development initiatives and departmental administrative duties.
- Hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of progressive teaching and research experience at the university level.
- Demonstrate a robust publication record in recognized peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital learning tools.
