Key Responsibilities- Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Drive high-impact research initiatives and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement within the Faculty of Science and Computing.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and administrative duties.
- Engage in community service and foster academic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Hold a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous academic experience as a Senior Lecturer.
- At least 20 peer-reviewed journal publications in reputable outlets, including a minimum of 4 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Demonstrable ICT proficiency and active membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Must possess a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
