Wellspring University, a prestigious private institution founded on Christian ethics and principles, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Associate Professor in CyberSecurity to join our vibrant Faculty of Computing. Located in Benin City, Edo State, our mission is to mould globally competitive graduates with strong intellectual knowledge and moral strength. We are looking for an academic leader dedicated to advancing research, driving curriculum excellence, and mentoring the next generation of technology professionals in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and quality assurance within the CyberSecurity department.
- Supervise postgraduate student research theses and dissertations at the Master and PhD levels.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable international and local academic journals.
- Provide visionary academic leadership, mentoring junior faculty members and participating in departmental and university-wide committees.
- Engage in community service, institutional development, and strategic partnerships aligned with the university's core Christian values.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in CyberSecurity or a closely related computing discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications and evidence of academic leadership.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and grant attraction.
- Strong ICT proficiency, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and relevant professional registrations or practicing licences where applicable.
