About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria invites accomplished academics to join our Department of Cyber Security as an Associate Professor. Established in 2021, MIU represents a landmark institutional presence in West Africa as the first Indian university on the African continent. Located on a comprehensive campus in Masaka, Nasarawa State along the FCT-Abuja corridor, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver advanced cyber security curriculum to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- Supervise student research projects and thesis work
- Contribute to departmental and institutional strategic initiatives
- Engage in academic mentorship and professional development activities
- Collaborate with industry partners on practical security solutions
- Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 peer-reviewed scholarly journal publications
- At least 8 years of combined teaching, research, and university experience
- Demonstrated expertise in cyber security practices and emerging threats
