Key Responsibilities- Provide exemplary academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development within the Department of Criminology and Security Studies.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ensuring alignment with global best practices and NUC standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and postgraduate theses at the Master's and PhD levels.
- Publish high-impact, peer-reviewed articles in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Engage in community service, departmental administration, and mentoring of junior academic staff and students.
- Must possess a PhD in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of academic leadership, administrative capacity, and a robust track record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Proven capability for effective postgraduate teaching, thesis supervision, and grant attraction.
- Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for modern pedagogical delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a commitment to upholding Christian values.
