We are currently recruiting an Associate Professor in Community Health Nursing for our College of Nursing Science located in Benin City, Edo State. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and coursework in Community Health Nursing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects and theses.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and contribute significantly to academic publications in the field of nursing science.
- Provide robust academic leadership within the College of Nursing Science and mentor junior faculty members.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and community engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and professional nursing guidelines.
- Must possess a PhD in Community Health Nursing or a closely relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- At least eight (8) years of cognate university teaching and research experience.
- A strong and demonstrable record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for effective postgraduate teaching, student supervision, and academic leadership.
- Must hold recognized academic qualifications, current professional nursing registration, and a valid practicing license.
