In this role, you will spearhead cutting-edge research, deliver engaging lectures, and mentor the next generation of technology leaders within a faith-based academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach, mentor, and evaluate undergraduate and postgraduate students in Artificial Intelligence and related computing disciplines.
- Design, update, and implement innovative curriculum content that meets global academic and industry standards.
- Conduct high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide robust academic and administrative leadership within the department and the wider university community.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations at various academic levels.
- Secure research grants and foster collaborative partnerships with industry stakeholders and academic institutions.
- Possess a Ph.D. degree with a strict specialization in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related computing discipline.
- Demonstrate a minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Proven track record of academic leadership, administrative competence, and effective student mentoring.
- Extensive portfolio of relevant publications in high-ranking local and international reputable journals.
- Strong digital literacy and technological skills with a heavy bias for innovative research and modern pedagogy.
