Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Accounting and related financial disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research theses and dissertations.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Provide visionary academic leadership within the department and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Mentor junior faculty members and foster a collaborative, intellectually stimulating learning environment.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Accounting or a closely related relevant discipline.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of cognate university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
- A strong, demonstrable record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Proven capacity for postgraduate teaching, supervision, and academic leadership.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ICT-enabled teaching and learning platforms.
- Current professional registration and a valid practising licence with relevant accounting bodies where applicable.
