About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, established in 2021, is West Africa's landmark institution and Africa's first Indian university. Located in Masaka, Nasarawa State, along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are seeking exceptional academic professionals to join our growing Department of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in accounting disciplines to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- Mentor and supervise student research projects and academic development
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic program enhancement
- Participate in departmental committees and university governance
- Engage in professional service to the accounting and academic communities
- Ph.D. in Accounting or closely related discipline
- Minimum of 10 publications in peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- At least 8 years of teaching, research, and university-level experience in accounting
- Strong track record of academic excellence and research productivity
- Demonstrated commitment to higher education and student mentorship
