Standard Chartered Bank is looking for an experienced and driven Associate Principal, Investment Advisory to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities

As the Associate Principal, you will lead the Investment Advisory team and collaborate with relationship managers to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions. Your core duties include:

  • Providing expert investment advice to high-net-worth clients to meet their financial objectives and increase share of wallet.
  • Partnering with product development teams to align foreign exchange, managed investments, insurance, and fixed-income products with client needs.
  • Driving customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth through tailored marketing initiatives.
  • Ensuring rigorous operational risk management, strict compliance with group policies, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Mentoring relationship managers, monitoring performance, and sharing best practices across branches.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or retail banking within a financial institution.
  • Strong technical competencies in risk management, portfolio analysis, and financial market products.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Up-to-date certifications and mandatory regulatory compliance knowledge, including anti-money laundering and conflict of interest training.
