Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, payments, journals, general ledger reconciliations, and comprehensive month-end activities.
- Review accounts payable and receivable invoices, ensuring timely reconciliation of ledger and business partner accounts.
- Manage intercompany transactions, invoicing, postings, payments, and balance reconciliations.
- Monitor ledger health, aging balances, open payments, credit notes, and investigate overdue items.
- Handle month-end close processes, statutory reporting, and Trial Balance preparation.
- Support internal and external audit activities, financial controls, and corporate compliance standards.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, physical tagging, and verification.
- Qualified accountant holding an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification alongside a relevant BSc, B-Tech, or HND degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience gained within the FMCG sector or a Big Four accounting firm.
- Advanced proficiency in finance systems, Microsoft Excel, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing environments and branded consumer goods.
