About the Role
Evidence Action scales cost-effective programs that demonstrably improve millions of lives across the globe. We are seeking a skilled Associate Manager, Program Data Analytics to lead the statistical analysis of cleaned program data for our West and Central Africa sub-region. In this vital role, you will bridge the gap between complex datasets and actionable program strategies, ensuring our interventions in initiatives like Dispensers for Safe Water and the Deworm the World Initiative achieve maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities- Direct rigorous descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using tools like Stata, R, or Python to generate evidence-based program recommendations.
- Contribute analytical expertise to survey design, sampling strategies, and measurement frameworks in collaboration with the Program Data Management team.
- Oversee the creation of high-impact reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and build the technical capacity of the Senior Associate, Program Data Analytics.
- Translate evolving program needs into structured analytical workflows and actionable insights.
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Public Health, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis, including supervising or mentoring junior analysts.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, R, or Python, alongside data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; French language proficiency is a strong advantage for Francophone WCA engagement.
