Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons for nursery children.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Monitor and support individual student progress, providing extra attention to children who need reinforcement.
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and indoor or outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians by communicating children's daily progress and developmental milestones.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development training sessions as required.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated previous work experience as a nursery or early childhood assistant teacher.
  • Strong passion for teaching and nurturing young children within a Christian educational framework.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a high level of dedication to child development and safety.
