About the Role
Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited, a premier hospitality consulting firm in Lagos, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Maintenance (Electrical) Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all electrical systems, equipment, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to deliver an exceptional experience for our hotel guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance of electrical installations, distribution boards, lighting systems, and appliances.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults promptly, responding effectively to maintenance requests from guests and various hotel departments.
- Support the monitoring of power supply, maintenance of generators, and safe operation of changeover systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting electrical hazards immediately.
- Help monitor electricity consumption, identify energy wastage, and implement conservation measures.
- Collaborate closely with other maintenance personnel including plumbers, carpenters, and HVAC technicians on major projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and component replacements.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or facility management sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, troubleshooting techniques, and power generator operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure, respond to emergencies, and communicate effectively.
