Key Responsibilities- Deliver undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in various areas of Statistics.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in line with university standards.
- Assess student performance through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and continuous assessment.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to undergraduate students.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic conferences.
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues on academic administration, quality assurance, and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a good Second Class Honours Bachelor degree in Statistics or a closely related quantitative field from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a Master degree in Statistics or a directly relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publishing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages and modern digital teaching tools.
