Federal University Lafia, established in February 2011, is dedicated to expanding access to quality higher education in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Social Work to join our esteemed Faculty and contribute to our expanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in undergraduate Social Work courses.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, field placements, and academic research.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committees.
- Conduct relevant academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to students.
- Must possess a good Bachelor's degree (Second Class Honours) in Social Work or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Membership in relevant professional social work bodies will be an added advantage.
