We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Lecturer in Psychology to join our esteemed faculty and contribute to our comprehensive academic programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical tutorials in psychology to undergraduate nursing and health science students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content in alignment with regulatory and institutional standards.
- Design, administer, and grade examinations, quizzes, and continuous assessment tasks fairly and promptly.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and guidance to students to support their personal and professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and institutional events or community outreach programmes.
- Conduct relevant academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals to contribute to the institution's intellectual growth.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Psychology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited university.
- A Master's degree in Psychology or enrollment in a postgraduate program will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, academic research, and student mentorship within a tertiary institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse student bodies.
