As an Assistant Lecturer in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class instruction, conducting groundbreaking research, and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists within an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with national and global pharmaceutical education standards.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to technological innovations.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory practicals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Mentor students academically and professionally to foster a culture of excellence and holistic development.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. in view or already obtained will be a distinct advantage.
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and publication in scholarly journals.
