About the Role

As an Assistant Lecturer in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class instruction, conducting groundbreaking research, and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists within an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials aligned with national and global pharmaceutical education standards.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to technological innovations.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory practicals.
  • Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
  • Mentor students academically and professionally to foster a culture of excellence and holistic development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Ph.D. in view or already obtained will be a distinct advantage.
  • Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid practicing license.
  • Demonstrated potential for academic research and publication in scholarly journals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and digital teaching technology skills.
