Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive undergraduate lectures and laboratory practicals in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and related pharmacy courses.
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum in alignment with accredited academic standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and laboratory activities.
  • Engage in continuous scholarly research, publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Master degree (M.Sc. or M.Pharm.) or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A Ph.D. in progress or completed will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant teaching, research, or industry experience within a tertiary institution or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Registration with the relevant professional body, such as the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), where applicable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively to diverse student groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to academic integrity and institutional values.
