Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and qualified academics to apply for the position of Assistant Lecturer in Petroleum Information Management. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical tutorials in Petroleum Information Management and related disciplines.
- Assist in the development, revision, and updating of curriculum materials and course modules.
- Conduct rigorous academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research theses, and academic assignments.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and academic community service.
- Maintain accurate student records, assess coursework, and administer examinations fairly and transparently.
- Possess a good Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Honours) in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a Master's degree in Petroleum Information Management or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research, scholarly writing, and professional development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student-mentoring skills.
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with educational technology and petroleum data management systems.
