Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology to undergraduate dental students.
  • Supervise undergraduate student research projects, clinics, and academic activities.
  • Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as assigned by the Head of Department.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the academic programs within the School of Dentistry.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional growth and development.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a First Degree (Bachelor's) in Dentistry or a related medical science discipline with not below a Second-Class Upper Division. Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division must hold a relevant PhD.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field with an ongoing PhD program.
  • Demonstrated evidence of teaching and research potential, including academic publications where applicable.
  • Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills tailored for academic environments.
