The University of Benin (UNIBEN) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the academic position of Assistant Lecturer in Oral Diagnosis & Radiology within the School of Dentistry. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology to undergraduate dental students.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, clinics, and academic activities.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of the academic programs within the School of Dentistry.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional growth and development.
- Possession of a First Degree (Bachelor's) in Dentistry or a related medical science discipline with not below a Second-Class Upper Division. Candidates with a Second-Class Lower Division must hold a relevant PhD.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field with an ongoing PhD program.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching and research potential, including academic publications where applicable.
- Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria is strongly preferred.
