The Federal University Lafia is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join its esteemed College of Medicine as an Assistant Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory or clinical sessions in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, continuous assessments, and clinical rotations.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects and provide academic mentoring.
- Participate actively in departmental curriculum development, departmental meetings, and faculty committees.
- Engage in impactful medical research and publish findings in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Possess a good second-class honours degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Hold a Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or a relevant medical discipline.
- Current registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a valid practicing license.
