We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Lecturer in Nursing Sciences to join our vibrant academic community in Nigeria. In this role, you will contribute to teaching, curriculum delivery, and cutting-edge research, preparing our students to make meaningful impacts in the healthcare sector and their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Nursing Sciences using modern, technology-driven learning approaches.
- Assess and evaluate student coursework, clinical practice, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Participate actively in departmental research activities, academic projects, and curriculum development initiatives.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career pathways, and professional nursing standards.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and department heads to achieve institutional goals and maintain high academic standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and community engagement programs as required.
- A good Master's degree in Nursing Sciences or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university (a higher degree or PhD in view is highly desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology-driven learning approaches and their practical implementation in higher education.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to contribute to scholarly research activities and publish in reputable academic journals.
- A commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and clinical excellence.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme or possession of an exemption certificate.
