About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria is a landmark institution bridging elite academic pedagogy with the evolving industrial demands of Nigeria. Strategically located along the Federal Capital Territory-Abuja corridor in Masaka, Nasarawa State, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Nursing Science to contribute to our vibrant academic community, foster critical thinking, and drive excellence in healthcare education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Nursing Science to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content aligned with NUC standards.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical rotations, and academic progress.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and community outreach programs.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student success and professional development.
- Must possess a Master's degree in Nursing Science or a directly relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in Nursing Science.
- A minimum of 2 scholarly journal publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Current active registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills suited for higher education.
