Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Microbiology.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research activities, and academic assignments.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental quality assurance processes.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and community service initiatives.
- Maintain accurate academic records and provide mentorship and academic guidance to students.
- Possession of a Master’s Degree in Microbiology or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Must provide verifiable evidence of PhD registration in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of at least 2 peer-reviewed journal publications in academic outlets.
- Demonstrable ICT proficiency and competence in digital learning tools and educational technology.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies related to Microbiology.
- Possession of a mandatory NYSC discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
