We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Lecturer in Medical-Surgical Nursing to join our dynamic Department of Nursing Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Medical-Surgical Nursing to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment tools in line with regulatory and institutional standards.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, clinical placements, and career development.
- Participate actively in department meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
- Conduct relevant research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals to advance the nursing profession.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and clinical practicums.
- Possess a minimum of a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nursing Science with a specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary education level is a distinct advantage.
