Greenland University, Jalingo, the premier private university in Taraba State founded by Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi under the motto 'Knowledge for Self-Reliance,' is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and tutorials for undergraduate students in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Develop and update course materials, curricula, and assessment methods in line with academic standards.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, practicals, and academic field activities.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to students to ensure their holistic development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings, as well as institutional events and accreditation exercises.
- Possession of a Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Must provide verifiable evidence of PhD registration in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of active teaching, academic research, or relevant professional experience.
- Must have at least 2 peer-reviewed journal publications in recognized academic outlets.
- Demonstrated ICT proficiency with the ability to utilize digital learning management systems and modern educational technology.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies within the medical laboratory science domain.
- Mandatory possession of an NYSC discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
