Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and qualified academics to apply for the position of Assistant Lecturer in Industrial Design. As a faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging instruction, mentoring undergraduate students, and contributing to the vibrant academic community in Nasarawa State.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive lectures, seminars, and practical studio sessions in Industrial Design undergraduate programmes.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula to meet modern industry standards and academic requirements.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, studio works, and academic research activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university-wide academic events.
- Conduct impactful research and publish scholarly articles in recognized peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional and personal growth.
- Possess a good Bachelor's degree (Second Class Honours or above) in Industrial Design or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Hold a Master's degree in Industrial Design or a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
