Federal University Lafia is seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Lecturer to join our esteemed College of Medicine within the Department of Haematology and Blood Transfusion. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to undergraduate medical students.
- Assist senior faculty members in curriculum development, course material preparation, and academic assessments.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, laboratory practicals, and academic research activities.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee works, and university community service initiatives.
- Possess a good Bachelor's degree (Second Class Honours or higher) in Medicine or a relevant medical sciences field from a recognized institution.
- Hold a Master's degree in Haematology, Blood Transfusion, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills suitable for academic environments.
- Membership in relevant professional medical or academic bodies will be an added advantage.
