Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials, course outlines, and assessment tools in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
  • Supervise undergraduate student projects, research assignments, and academic progress.
  • Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the department's academic reputation.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as administrative duties as assigned.
  • Engage in community service and industry partnerships that enhance the visibility and practical impact of the university's cybersecurity programs.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
  • Must have a PhD currently in progress, demonstrating a clear commitment to advanced academic research.
  • Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division (or Second-Class Lower Division with a completed PhD).
  • Demonstrated evidence of teaching potential, pedagogical skills, and research capability through publications or conference presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills tailored for an academic environment.
