Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in undergraduate cyber security and related computing courses.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and digital learning resources aligned with modern industry standards.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor, advise, and guide undergraduate students on academic performance, career paths, and research projects.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, administrative duties, and community service initiatives.
- Maintain active engagement with relevant professional bodies and contribute to the institution's ICT development goals.
- Possession of a Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized university.
- Must provide verifiable evidence of PhD registration or ongoing doctoral studies.
- Minimum of 1 year of active teaching, academic research, or relevant industry experience.
- Must have at least 2 peer-reviewed journal publications in recognized academic outlets.
- Demonstrable ICT proficiency and competence in modern digital learning and security tools.
- Active membership in recognized professional bodies (e.g., CPN, NCS, ISC2, or equivalent).
- Mandatory possession of an NYSC discharge certificate or valid exemption certificate.
