Federal University Lafia invites dynamic and qualified academics to apply for the position of Assistant Lecturer in Cyber Security. As an Assistant Lecturer, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals by delivering engaging instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the academic community within our growing faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in cyber security and related computing courses.
- Assess student assignments, project reports, examinations, and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Engage in rigorous academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects and provide mentorship on academic and career development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings as well as community service initiatives.
- Must possess a good Bachelor's degree (Second Class Honours or higher) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant computing field from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a Master's degree in Cyber Security or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publishing will be an added advantage.
