About the Role
Federal University Lafia is seeking a dedicated and passionate academic professional to join our esteemed Faculty of Pharmacy as an Assistant Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. Established in 2011, our institution is committed to expanding access to quality higher education and fostering groundbreaking research in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction, mentoring aspiring pharmacists, and contributing to the vibrant intellectual community of our Nasarawa State campus.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
- Assist senior faculty members in curriculum development, course material preparation, and academic assessments.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, internships, and clinical rotations.
- Conduct impactful research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university community service initiatives.
- Possess a good Bachelor degree (Second Class Honours or higher) in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a Master degree in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice or a closely related relevant field.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student-mentorship skills.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) is an advantage.
