Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in core civil engineering courses.
- Develop comprehensive course materials, syllabi, and innovative assessment tools to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and mandatory industrial training attachments.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to institutional academic development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and community service initiatives.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to foster their holistic professional and personal growth.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related academic discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated potential or proven track record for academic research and scholarly publications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills suited for a dynamic higher education environment.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies such as COREN is a distinct advantage.
