About the Role
Fountain University, owned by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), commenced operations in January 2008 with a mission to promote total development rooted in academic excellence and high moral values. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified academic professional to fill the role of Assistant Lecturer in Biochemistry and Nutrition within our thriving institution based in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry and Nutrition to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum content aligned with departmental standards.
- Conduct impactful academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and academic assignments.
- Provide comprehensive academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Contribute meaningfully to community service initiatives and university outreach programs.
- Must possess a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Nutrition, or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Evidence of active registration for a Ph.D. program in a relevant field will be considered a significant added advantage.
