Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is seeking a dedicated Assistant Lecturer in Biochemistry to join our esteemed academic faculty. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry.
- Design, update, and evaluate course materials, curricula, and assessment methods in accordance with university standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
- Conduct cutting-edge independent and collaborative research, publishing findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and community service initiatives.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Ph.D. in progress or possession of a doctorate degree will be a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and scholarly publications.
