About the Role
The University of Benin (UNIBEN), a premier federal university founded in 1970, is seeking a dedicated and passionate academic professional to join our esteemed faculty as an Assistant Lecturer in Agriculture Fine Arts Education. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the next generation of scholars by delivering high-quality instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the vibrant academic community within our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Agriculture Fine Arts Education.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research endeavors, and academic fieldworks.
- Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative committees and academic events.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career development, and professional growth.
- A Master's degree in Agriculture Fine Arts Education or a closely related field.
- Must have a PhD currently in progress with documented evidence of ongoing research.
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division accompanied by a completed PhD.
- Demonstrated potential or prior experience in teaching and academic research.
