About the Role
The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE), established to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare manpower in Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Lecturer to join our academic community. Evolving from the former Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, our institution comprises six faculties and 17 departments dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and healthcare service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to undergraduate students in allied health sciences.
- Participate in curriculum development, course evaluation, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to academic advancements in healthcare.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, dissertations, and academic field placements.
- Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support to students to ensure holistic development.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committee meetings and administrative duties as assigned.
- Possession of a relevant higher academic degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Allied Health Sciences or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional certifications and active membership in pertinent professional bodies where applicable.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic integrity, institutional objectives, and excellence in teaching and research.
