Telic International Academy is a prestigious private early childhood and primary educational institution located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a passionate and hardworking Assistant Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators and support our mission of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging daily lessons and learning activities.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all pupils.
- Support individual student development, providing extra attention to those who need additional academic guidance.
- Help prepare teaching aids, classroom materials, and maintain a clean, organized learning space.
- Monitor student progress, record attendance, and participate in parent-teacher communication as required.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to organize school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum planning.
- Possession of a B.Ed, B.Sc, HND with PGDE or equivalent, or an NCE with a minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
- TRCN certification will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Good ICT skills and proficiency in using digital tools for education are advantageous.
