Key Responsibilities- Supervise and maintain daily operations within the university laboratories to ensure seamless practical sessions and research activities.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment in compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and quality assurance protocols across all laboratory environments.
- Assist academic staff and students during practical laboratory classes, demonstrations, and research projects.
- Manage laboratory inventory, requisition supplies, and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and usage.
- Possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant laboratory discipline.
- Current and appropriate professional registration or licensure where applicable.
- Demonstrated relevant post-qualification experience commensurate with the Assistant Chief Technologist cadre in a tertiary or research institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory safety regulations, quality assurance, and modern equipment handling.
