Key Responsibilities- Post and reconcile daily transactions, including bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accrual accounts to support the month-end close process.
- Manage end-to-end cash operations by receiving, recording, reconciling, and safeguarding customer payments via cash, POS, and bank transfers.
- Maintain the comprehensive branch fixed asset register, overseeing asset tagging, depreciation tracking, movements, and physical verification counts.
- Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts, process approved payments, and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Enforce strict internal controls, ensure segregation of duties, and safeguard sensitive financial documents and cash assets.
- Utilize the Odoo ERP system to process and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed asset transactions accurately.
- Respond promptly to headquarters finance queries and meet strict monthly reporting deadlines.
- Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification or progression such as ICAN Intermediate is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, specifically in general ledger management, reconciliations, and cash handling.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with working experience in Odoo highly advantageous.
