About the Role

Neo Homes Limited is a rapidly growing property development and management company dedicated to delivering quality homes and exceptional real estate solutions in Abuja. As we expand our operations, we are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic Finance and Accounts department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and supporting overall financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and process daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and invoices.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding client and vendor payments.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.
  • Track property sales, client payments, commissions, and other real estate-related transactions.
  • Maintain proper filing, documentation, and confidentiality of all financial records.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the real estate or property development sector.
  • Progress towards ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
