About the Role

Marconi.NG EPC Limited operates the historic 1,000,000-square-meter Rumuolumeni Fabrication Yard, a pillar of Nigeria's oil and gas industry since 1999. We are seeking a dedicated Asset Data Analyst to own, govern, and continuously improve all asset data, information systems, and digital intelligence within our Port Harcourt facility. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our CMMS/EAM platform, physical asset register, spare-parts catalogue, and KPI reporting framework to support our Asset Management function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Govern and administer the CMMS/EAM system as the master source of truth for all asset-related data, work orders, PM schedules, and inspection records.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and currency of the physical asset register, leading verification campaigns and managing Material Master Data.
  • Develop and maintain the yard Asset Data Governance Framework, establishing SOPs, data dictionaries, and asset taxonomies aligned with ISO 14224 and ISO 15926.
  • Design and maintain asset management KPI dashboards, producing monthly performance reports and conducting failure mode analyses.
  • Develop and maintain a GIS-based spatial asset layer for the fabrication base, integrating spatial data with the CMMS platform.
  • Manage the handover process for new equipment, capital projects, and refurbishments, defining minimum data requirements for packages.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related discipline with a minimum Second Class Upper.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in CMMS/EAM data management, asset register management, or master data management within heavy industry, oil and gas, or manufacturing.
  • Mandatory CMMS/EAM certification or expert-level proficiency in IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Oracle EAM, or equivalent.
  • ISO 55001 awareness or foundation-level certification.
  • Proficiency in GIS data management using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent tools.
