About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GVA Partners) is recruiting a talented and visionary UI/UX Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides by defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional digital products that solve complex challenges and elevate user satisfaction across diverse platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Translate complex product requirements into intuitive wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI designs.
- Conduct thorough usability reviews and continuously iterate designs based on user feedback and analytical data.
- Maintain, scale, and actively contribute to the company design system with high proficiency in Figma.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing activities to predict user behavior.
- Produce and illustrate high-quality UI/UX design concepts using storyboards, process flow diagrams, site maps, and visual graphics.
- Collaborate seamlessly with marketing, internal, and external teams to guarantee tailored experiences for every digital user.
- Strictly adhere to established style standards regarding typography, iconography, and overall graphic design.
- Facilitate the gathering and evaluation of user requirements alongside cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Social Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field with a minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2).
- 4 to 15 years of proven professional product design experience with a verifiable track record.
- Must possess and present a strong, comprehensive portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX projects.
- Demonstrated ability to interface with multiple business functions and manage project delivery plans successfully.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills to guide cross-functional teams while meeting scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
