About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Paver Mechanic with proven expertise in Vögele asphalt pavers and related road construction equipment to join our growing maintenance and operations team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure our heavy machinery operates at peak efficiency, minimizing downtime on vital infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Vögele asphalt pavers and associated road construction machinery.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and diagnostic reports accurately.
- Ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize operational downtime across project sites.
- Conduct rapid and effective field repairs on active construction sites when required.
- Maintain accurate service, repair, and preventive maintenance records in compliance with company standards.
- Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience specializing in Vögele pavers and Wirtgen Group equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines, advanced hydraulics, and electronic control systems.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in demanding field conditions.
