About the Role
His Thoughts Academy, established in February 2013 from a deep passion for child development and early education, is seeking a talented and passionate Art Subject Teacher. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young minds, encouraging creativity, and helping students discover and develop their artistic talents within a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured art lessons for students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Encourage students to express their creativity through various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and crafting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized art studio or classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Organize school art exhibitions, displays, and creative projects to showcase student work.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification in Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in an educational institution, preferably working with children.
- Strong passion for education and a deep understanding of child development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
